What does Rivata do?
It is a program where you talk to an AI character on the screen with your voice. When you turn on the microphone and speak, the character understands and responds aloud, with their facial expressions and gestures moving together as they speak. Unlike chatbots that exchange text, you can see a face and hear a voice, so the conversation feels closer to talking to a person.
Who uses this?
It is mainly used by people who spend a lot of time alone, those who need a companion on their way home or while doing housework, and those who need someone to practice speaking a foreign language with. Since it takes care of alarms and schedules by voice, it is also used to manage medication and meal times for seniors living alone.
Can I chat only by text?
Yes. The conversation continues even if you mix voice and text. You can send messages by text in places where you need to be quiet and switch to voice when it's convenient.
Does the character remember me?
Yes, they do. They save things learned during conversation, such as your name, things you like, what you do, and today's tasks, and bring them up first next time. You can see everything they remember in the memory tab, and you can edit or delete them right there.
Which devices can I use it on?
You can use it on Android phones, iPhones, and Windows PCs. If you log in with the same account, all three will be linked as one person's.
Can I use it even if my phone's performance is low?
Since the character moves in video, we recommend mid-range or higher devices. On very old devices, the video may not be smooth.
Can I use it without the internet?
Creating conversation content requires the internet. If the internet is disconnected, it will let you know, and you can continue using it once reconnected.
Is signing up a hassle?
There is no separate sign-up process. You can just log in with a Google account or Apple account. We do not collect phone numbers.
Can I change a character's name or personality?
Yes, you can. You can edit the name, personality, speech style, profile, and memories, and once you've made changes, we won't overwrite them.
Can I create a character using my own photo?
You can create your own character with just a single photo. The creation process is handled on our server, and once it's finished, it will appear in the app.
Can I interrupt while they are speaking?
Yes, you can. If you speak while a character is talking, they will stop and listen to what you have to say.
Can I change the voice?
You can choose the one that best suits your character from fourteen different voices and adjust the speed, pitch, and volume to your liking.
Are languages other than Korean supported?
It supports thirty languages. When you change the language, not only the text on the screen but also the character's name, introduction, and profile will change to that language. Any text you have edited yourself will remain as it is.
Can I continue a conversation from my phone on a PC?
If you log in with the same account, your memories, settings, voices, and characters will be automatically synced. Any changes you make on one device will be reflected on your other devices.
Where are the conversations stored?
It is saved on your device and your account. Detailed items and storage periods are written in the Privacy Policy.
Can I delete memories or my account?
You can delete a single memory, a single character, or your entire account at any time within the app. If you delete your account, the data on the server will also be deleted. We have also provided a separate Account Deletion Guide.
Can I turn off features I don't use?
Yes, you can. If you turn off features that communicate externally, such as search, news, and weather, in the settings, those features will not work at all.
Can children use it?
It is not available for those under the age of 14. Detailed criteria can be found in the Terms of Use.
